A Job Check is a process required by Immigration New Zealand for certain work visa applications, particularly under the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) pathway. Its purpose is to ensure that the position you are being offered meets New Zealand’s labour market requirements. In simple terms, it verifies that:

  • The salary meets minimum thresholds

  • The employer is accredited and complies with employment standards
