This policy
is designed for those who have the ability to demonstrate that they
have been actively participating in business in New Zealand and thereby
contributing to New Zealand's economic development.
This category follows
on from the Long
Term Business Visa (temporary) category for applicants
who have established or purchased a business in New Zealand or made
a substantial investment.
Applicants
are required to demonstrate They
have successfully established a business in New Zealand for 2 years
and the business is benefiting in New Zealand in some way.
The business will
be considered to benefit New Zealand if it promotes New Zealand's economic
growth through:
Introducing new
technology, management or technical skills or
Introducing new
products or services or
Developing new
export markets or
Creating employment
other than employing the applicant or
Re-vitalising
an existing business
Applicants are required to meet the minimum standard of English. (IELTS
Level4)
On approval applicants
are required to pay a settlement information fee and migrant levy.
